Thousands of steps were taken in Qusar towards health and unity

On May 28, a major running race titled "Zirvəyə Doğru" was held in the city of Qusar, with METAK as the main sponsor and the support of the Qusar District Executive Authority and the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Participants started the race in front of the Qusar District Executive Authority building. Some of them completed the 11 km route by running 3 laps, while others finished a 22 km distance by running 6 laps.

Among the 700 participants who registered in advance, the youngest was 15 years old and the oldest was 75 — a clear sign of how inclusive and open the race was for everyone.

At the end of the race, winners were determined in various age and distance categories for both men and women, with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers awarded cash prizes and valuable gifts.

The "Zirvəyə Doğru" marathon was not just a sports competition, but also a celebration of unity and friendship. People of different ages coming together for a common goal, and the collaboration between public and private institutions, made the event especially meaningful.
