A new partnership between OKİ Hospital and Khachmaz Central District Hospital expands regional access to advanced diagnostic care

As part of its mission to expand access to high-quality healthcare services, OKİ Hospital has launched a Computer Tomography (CT) service at the Khachmaz Central District Hospital (Khachmaz CDH).

The inauguration ceremony was attended by Seyyaf Taghiyev, Director of Khachmaz CDH; Ahmad Ahmadov, Chief Physician; Elnur Qurbanov, Head of the Radiology Department; and Dr. Ilham Karimov, Fachartz Radiologist and Chief Physician of OKİ Hospital.

Speakers emphasized the importance of this new department for residents of Khachmaz and surrounding regions. Patients can now benefit from modern CT diagnostics without needing to travel to other districts.

Particular attention was drawn to the convenience for citizens covered by the Mandatory Health Insurance system — they can now undergo CT examinations directly at Khachmaz CDH instead of traveling to Gusar.

The newly opened unit not only saves patients’ time but also enhances early diagnostic capabilities and contributes to improving the overall quality of healthcare services.
