Over 150 women received free medical examinations through the joint initiative of OKİ Hospital and Gusar Central Hospital

From September 16 to 18, 2025, OKİ Hospital MMC, in cooperation with Gusar Central District Hospital, organized a “Women’s Health” campaign in Hazra village of Gusar district.

The main purpose of the campaign was to identify risks of cervical and breast cancer among women over 40 in a timely manner and to raise awareness about women’s health issues.

During the three-day event, women received free consultations with gynecologists and mammologists, breast ultrasound examinations, colposcopy (PAP tests), microscopic examination of gynecological smears, and other analyses.

Medical services were provided by Dr. Tamara Babayeva, Dr. Azina Karimova, Dr. Kamilla Gurbanova, Dr. Lala Huseynova, Dr. Alina Kazimova, and Dr. Bakhish Abdulsamadov.

The results of the campaign are noteworthy: more than 150 women were examined, over 40 colposcopies, 130 ultrasound examinations, 100 ECGs, and numerous laboratory tests were performed. In addition, participants received electronic referrals under Mandatory Health Insurance to undergo mammography, MRI, CT, PAP tests, and other examinations at OKİ Hospital MMC at discounted rates.

Organizers emphasized that valuing women’s health means investing in the health of families and the future of society.
